The Yielding Sky features
35 images of my best paintings and drawings to date. The hardcover book has a full color dustjacket and is printed on
40 pages of eggshell finish 100# (148 gsm) premium paper with oatmeal linen covers. Your book will be

Descriptive Geometry (DG) allows the artist to obtain in-perspective
views of two and three-dimensional objects from any angle and elevation. DG will give you an accurate 'frame' (see the P-47 example below) from which you, the artist,
can flesh out the details. We describe how to plot these projections, but most importantly we put you in the right mindset,
i.e., the surface of your artwork is really meant to be a 'window', with the elements of your work 'beyond' in the distance. This 73-page manual features 47 illustrations
of each concept discussed. Most of the illustrations
are full-page figures, and some are large 11" x 17" fold outs to allow maximum clarity.
An appendix has several real world examples used in the composition of the author's aviation art.
